A shared ownership house in Ince near Wigan has been repossessed by Beech Housing Association after its owner caused damage estimated at more than £15,000. On the 20th March 2012 Beech Housing Association gained possession of a shared ownership house on Engineer Street in Ince. Adactus is the first housing association in the country to make a successful start on site claim under the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) Affordable Homes Programme. The Baptist Church on Lee Street, Atherton has benefited from a recent makeover to its kitchen.  The makeover was courtesy of local housing association, Adactus who own Ambergate, the sheltered housing scheme adjacent to the church.
